What materials are your journals made from?
We use vegetable-tanned Italian leather, sourced from certified tanneries. Some pieces carry the official Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale tag, ensuring the leather is 100% made in Italy, naturally tanned, and meant to age beautifully over time.
What sizes are available?
The Living Archive is available in two sizes:
A5 for longer writing, reflection, and daily use.
A6 for carrying close, note-taking, and collecting fragments of thought.
What is the difference between Duet and Verse formats?
Duet is a bifold format, simple and balanced, designed to hold your writing essentials.
Verse is a trifold format, offering more room to gather inserts, charms, and layers over time.
Both formats are designed to grow with you.
How do I customize my journal?
You can personalize your journal by choosing the size, format, leather color, cord color, and charms. Each piece is assembled by hand, allowing you to create a journal that feels personal and considered.

Why does my journal look slightly different from others?
Because leather is a natural material, no two journals are exactly the same. Variations in grain, texture, and tone are part of what makes each piece unique. These differences are not flaws, but traces of material and time.
Can I add or remove inserts?
Yes. Our journals are designed to hold interchangeable inserts that can be added, removed, or replaced as needed. Verse formats can hold more inserts depending on thickness, allowing your journal to evolve as your archive grows.
How much is shipping?
For local orders, shipping is charged at a flat rate. If the actual shipping cost exceeds the flat rate shown on our website, we will contact you directly regarding the additional fee before proceeding.
For international orders, shipping costs are calculated based on your location and selected items. The final shipping fee will be included and notified alongside your PayPal invoice.
When will my order ship?
Most orders are made to order and will be processed within 2-3 weeks after purchase. Shipping timelines may vary depending on order volume and customization. You will receive a confirmation once your order is ready to ship.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the made-to-order nature of our pieces, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind, size, or customization choices.
If your item arrives damaged or you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 3 days of delivery, and we will do our best to assist.
